Today I will be teaching you guys just a
short tutorial on how to draw or create a seal for your designs on labels or
stickers etc.
Launch CorelDraw x3, start a new blank
document and choose A6 document size landscape.
Draw a rectangle, make it five by one
inch and make the rectangle roundness one hundred percent (locate the roundness
settings at the top title bar) and type the character above or put any
character of your choice, for the font use (Arizonia) as it was used in the
sample.
Now let get down to our main seal itself
Go to the left toolbar and locate
polygon tool or press the shortcut key on your keyboard (Y), we are going to
insert the number of complex star for the polygon for it to give us the shape
we wanted, locate at the top number of points and put (31), for the colour of
the complex star I use just two colour (Light Yellow and white) now press your
keyboard (Ctrl + F11) to launch the fountain fill settings Type: Linear, colour blend: custom
not two colour, on the starting of the colour bar put the light yellow and were
I circle in red from the image below, to put in more colours you have to double
click and put white colour to it, move forward double click the colour bar
again put light yellow and move forward again and put in white colour, continue
like that.
Note:
the last colour of the colour bar must end with light yellow
Now for the second complex star,
duplicate the first one we created before, put red colour to it or like my own
I use radial effect on it the From:
Black and To: Red, instead you can
use just Red for now
Create
a little circle and don’t put any colour to the circle but only a tick outline
(1.5pt), white outline and duplicate it into two places, type in the character
of your choice and fit in text to path (go to the top – text – fit text to
path) and your mouse to fit the text were ever you want it to be.
The little stars that are in the circle are
also created from the polygon tool; click it and drag holding down control key
to achieve a perfect stars ,insert the number of point (edges of the stars) to
be five (5); duplicate the stars into six places and arrange it.
Your final result
should look like mine,
Don’t forget to share with friends and
family…..
